BlueGranite is honored to now hold the Advanced Specialization title for Analytics in Microsoft Azure, one of only 18 Microsoft partners with only 3 that are U.S. based, to hold this honor. Azure offers a differentiated range of analytics technologies that span the breadth of customers’ needs for advanced analytics and business intelligence. This advanced specialization is an assurance that we meet the highest standards for service delivery and support and validates our capability to plan and deliver tailored Microsoft analytics solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks, enabling the use of the full breadth of data assets to help build transformative and secure analytical solutions at enterprise scale.
“Advanced specialization” is a label for expertise, success, and partnership – according to Microsoft’s blog. Microsoft advanced specializations build on the related gold competencies that a partner can earn. Earning gold competencies, along with their related advanced specializations, allows partners to further differentiate their capabilities. Only partners that meet stringent criteria around customer success and staff skilling, as well as pass an audit of their migration practices, can earn Microsoft Azure advanced specialization. Microsoft utilizes this approach to determine the most trusted partners and advisors that can work with the most demanding cases, where the highest levels of quality and responsibility are required.
Amy Ford, Director of Strategic Partnerships at BlueGranite commented,“This advanced specialization provides BlueGranite with a third-party verification and confirmation of our highly skilled and specialized technical capabilities. Whether a Microsoft partner has 100 team members or 1,000, earning the Analytics on Microsoft Azure Advance Specialization levels the playing field to showcase the true expertise and strong credibility that BlueGranite provides as an Azure-only Data and Analytics partner.”
Azure advanced specialization partners undergo rigorous and independent technical validation of their capabilities to ensure they meet Microsoft standards. Like any other certification, earning an advanced specialization is equal to passing an exam, but on an enterprise level. This implies passing a compressive 3rd party audit of subject-related processes and methods, including documentation and reporting, the professionalism and knowledge of in-house specialists, and overall company expertise in the selected area. To pass the external audit, the company must comply with all audit requirements without exceptions.
Rodney Clark, Corporate Vice President, Global Partner Solutions, Channel Sales and Channel Chief at Microsoft added, “The Analytics on Microsoft Azure advanced specialization highlights the partners who can be viewed as most capable when it comes to building transformative and secure analytics solutions on Azure. BlueGranite clearly demonstrated that they have both the skills and the experience to help our customers harness the power of insight and transform their businesses in a scalable, secure, and cost-effective way.”
Data-driven insights and cloud adoption will continue to gain prominence for organizations of all shapes and sizes, opening massive opportunity for organizations. Adoption of Microsoft Azure has continued to increase rapidly—last year, Azure grew 47 percent year-over-year. This mass migration to the cloud has been amplified by the widespread move to remote work, as many organizations seek to modernize aging on-premises systems and analytics capabilities.
