3Cloud began with an architecture gap analysis to assess the corporation’s current state and to ensure the right architecture was in place. Following our assessment, the client asked 3Cloud to execute recommendations and engage in a POC for Health & Safety – a critical area within the company – to build out use cases and show them the value in what they can do with their data. Due to 3Cloud’s success and the trust built with the client, we were asked to create executive level dashboards (Senior Leadership Team, site dashboards) and enhance business vertical reporting to include self-service, using Power Platform/Power Apps. In addition, 3Cloud added commentary functionality to the dashboards that enables leadership with real-time views of metric changes and adjustments across all sites.

The Results

With our help, the client was able to create accurate, user-friendly, consistent reporting across mining sites which allows them to better analyze operations and health and safety. Executive/site level dashboards empower leadership to consistently manage their business across all sites. The dashboards we created enabled the organization in many ways including, creation of new net metrics, site operations report allows users to compare and track efficacy of equipment against mining operations; ability to track productivity of equipment and crews; performance tracking on site operations and equipment metrics over time. With improved analytics, this gold mining company is empowered to live out their vision of embedding the principles of partnership and sustainability into all decision making.
