BlueGranite Gives Thanks 2021

The BlueGranite team has so much to be thankful for this year! Whether we are working to support our clients, our team, or building relationships with our partners, we are constantly learning, growing, and maturing as an organization. As we head into the final weeks of 2021, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on what we’re most thankful for this year, and express our deepest appreciation for the clients, partners, and team members who keep our dream possible.

Thankful for our Relationships

Our commitment to client success is core to BlueGranite, with each partnership pursuing a strategic, trusted advisor relationship. This year, we are incredibly grateful for the opportunities our clients have offered us. By believing in our team and our ability to impact your organizations, you’ve enabled us to deliver “Ah-ha!” moments while expanding our expertise.

Equally, we have a strong commitment to our team, and strive to build an organization where our employees can flourish within a high-performing, supportive environment. We firmly believe in our organic organization model, empowering our team and providing the flexibility to work in a variety of areas, regardless of their current role. We’re so thankful that so many of our team members contribute to multiple efforts within the company. From writing blogs, to consulting on pre-sales, to providing technology expertise, or being industry leaders, we can’t thank you enough for all your hard work this year.

Finally, we could not succeed without our partners, specifically Microsoft, who are our source of inspiration and innovate the technologies that we love. You have given us the foundation, and freedom, to grow into the company we are today, and we are so appreciative of your influence and guidance in this journey.

I’m thankful to come work for a team each day. BlueGranite has been one of the greatest communities I’ve ever had the privilege to be a part of. I don’t feel like I get up and work for a company, or for a boss, or even just have a job. I really enjoy the people I work with, and I’m thankful for how welcome they’ve all made me feel. They’re all experts in their own regards, yet they make me feel like we’re all equal at every turn. They have a willingness to listen, to teach, and to help whenever asked. I know from experience that’s extremely rare to see from pretty much every member of an organization. Which means I’m also thankful to be a part of something unique.

As 2021 closes, I am thankful for the improvements we have seen since last year. I was fortunate to be able to visit a client this year, deepening our relationship and building a path for mutual success – that was unthinkable this time last year. I am also thankful for the work I was able to participate in, continuing to make BlueGranite a good place to work. Personally, I was able to take advantage of learning opportunities and deepen my knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Azure Analytics stack, and I am grateful for that as well. I am looking forward to how 2022 shapes up as it is looking to be an even better year!
